For Authors
Like the previous edition of ICPR, all accepted papers will be published in the proceedings published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
Also for this edition of ICPR, a Special Section of the Elsevier Pattern Recognition Letters (PRL) journal will host invited extended versions of the best paper and best student paper for each track of ICPR 2026. The invited PRL submission will have to include at least 30% new scientific contribution and will undergo a new regular review process.

Paper Format and Length
Springer LNCS format with maximum 15 pages (including references, figures and tables) during paper submission. Springer LNCS paper formatting instructions and templates for ICPR-2026 are available here DOC and Latex.
Manuscripts failing to meet the prescribed formatting requirements will be automatically rejected without review.
Submission interface
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Reproducible Research Badge
For the first time, ICPR offers a Reproducible Research badge as part of the submission process. If you would like your paper to be considered for the Reproducible Research in Pattern Recognition (RRPR) badge, please select “Yes” in the corresponding field of the CMT submission form.
